IS_ResumeFashion_SM_ResumeResume Final
As you can see above there are three different resumes. The one at the bottom was originally mine and the two above were focused on a job in IS and one for a marketing job. Here was some of the prompts that allowed me to optimize ChatGPT’s response, “It (my marketing resume) needs to be tight and professional,” and “I need my marketing job for me to showcase my girliness. And my IS job to not show that at all.” I eventually ended it with saying that it needed to be in two separated downloaded PDFs consisting of one page.
You also might notice that between the original and AI versions, that the formatting did get lost. However, I thought that it was a nice touch that the AI versions added a “skills” headline at the bottom to showcase my different skills for each job.
Ultimately, what I found while exploring ChatGPT is that it needed very specific instructions for it to follow my vision. Different content needs specific barriers. For example, the voice you want your piece to be written in, how long you want it to be, even down to adding examples in so the chatbot CLEARLY knows what you want.
